That means reporting issues, fixing safety risks, and being aware, punctual and in good form — rested, alert and ready.

On the roadHazards on at every stop. Loose dog? Stay in the van and call the customer. Any accident or injury gets reported immediately — fast reporting protects you.

Each of us is willing and able to go above and beyond by being proactive, offering ideas and problem solving — with humility, integrity and honesty.

On the roadFinished early? A teammate may need a rescue. Something unclear? Ask before you assume.

On the roadRunning late or can't make it? Call and text Dispatch, at least two hours ahead. Honest and early beats silent every time.

Safety, in practice

The safe stop, four steps every time.

Our No Driveway Policy is a big reason KingShip has one of the lowest property damage rates of any DSP. Backing out of a driveway is where most damage happens — mailboxes, parked cars, and kids you cannot see behind a van.

Park legally on the street.

Never pull into the driveway. The street is where you can see everything around you.
